Frog Peak Music is an artist-run composers' collective dedicated to publishing and producing experimental and unusual works by its member artists, and is committed to the idea of availability over promotion. Frog Peak Music is a not-for-profit organization in which member artists determine the form and content of their own work.

The CDs on the Frog Peak label are in addition to artist-produced CDs featured in the Frog Peak Music Catalog. These CDs are conceived, edited and produced by the Frog Peak staff. Most of the covers are designed by Michael Sumner.

Happily Ever After. Randy Hostetler. A legendary 45-minute text piece. Hostetler was an important young composer whose untimely passing was a great loss for American experimental music. His magnum opus, "Happily Ever After," is a fascinating tape work made up of many people telling stories. Each begins with "Once upon a time..." and ends with...happily ever after."
